the journey

The journey is tough

I know sometimes you wanna run

away from your problems

but that won’t solve them

your traumas are around you

taking place of your shadows

it can get overwhelming

but I’m telling you

it’ll all be worth it

the headaches and heartbreaks

taking more than you can bear

I know it doesn’t seem fair

but this is all part of design

for your elevation to the Divine

during these trying times

you will cry

you will cry

you will be scared of the nights

when your thoughts eat you alive

and you will fight

you will fight

because you know

you deserve more out of life

you will hold on

you will let go

you will not know which way to go

but you will grow

you still grow
