SISTARS OF THE GALAXY ♡

Sistars of the Galaxy Art Collective is a cosmic, multidisciplinary arts collective founded by artists and sibling pairs within the community.

Formed with the intention of creating art that empowers and uplifts, the collective includes Baltimore-based artists Hope and Faith, twin siblings who collaborate on large mixed media artwork, curated events, workshops, performances, and installations. Currently, Artists in Residence at Creative Alliance in Baltimore, their work explores themes of Black grief and resilience, honoring ancestors, family, and their profound relationship as twins. Baltimore-raised sisters Lovi (Afr0delic) and Soul grew up deeply immersed in the local arts and musical community. They contribute to the collective through performances, DJing, spoken word poetry, art workshops, mural work, and the curation of culturally connective events like Weirdo Wednesday and All Stars, in collaboration with the Baltimore Scene. Together, the Sistars of the Galaxy found a shared passion for community empowerment and youth engagement, leading to the formation of this dynamic collective.

As spiritual artists, the collective focuses on healing and beautifying spaces and strengthening communities through intentional, inclusive, and creative events and projects. Their work celebrates Black ancestors, living legends, and the vitality of Black life. Lead artists HOPE and Lovi are painters and muralists, while FAITH and Soul provide installation and consultation support, ensuring the collective’s art is accessible and transformative.
